The business has grown from blasting car parts and radiators to now large historic fence sections and lanterns for Columbia University, historical facade castings for New York City's 1888 Corbin Building, the restoration of the Bryant Park perimeter fence, carbon steel panels for 66 Hudson Boulevard, and most recently all the corten steel for the new expansion of New York City's Highline. Kari Anderson
Office and Project Manager
Kari joined Blast-Master in 2011 and began with the bookkeeping and HR responsibilities. Because of her former production background in advertising, Kari morphed into project management responsibilities in the shop. Overseeing the workflow of jobs and quality control and she even learned to blast, paint, operate the 5 ton overhead bridge crane, and drive a forklift. Quite a change from Madison Avenue!
